Proximity sensor

Proximity switches are a class of non-contact sensors used in industrial automation to reliably detect the presence, position, and motion of objects. Based on different detection principles, they are mainly classified as inductive, capacitive, and Hall effect types, each suited for different materials and application scenarios.

Inductive proximity switches are ideal for detecting metal targets, offering fast response and strong interference immunity. Capacitive proximity switches can detect both metallic and non-metallic objects, making them suitable for level and material presence detection. Hall effect proximity switches operate based on magnetic field sensing, providing precise position and motion detection with high reliability.
